A GIVEAWAY!!!!!!

Might as well start off right! This blog is my space to discuss the things that are important in my life. I am a mom- and most of my time is spent caring for my four children. I love to be crafty, if I have free time it is usually spent knitting, sewing, scrapbooking beading or looking up new projects to add to the never-ending list of "things I'd like to make"! I also work hard at keeping our home as free from toxic foods, chemicals, toys, etc. as I can. I homeschool our children and I firmly believe that the larger part of their learning happens when we are NOT sitting at the table doing "school". So it's an important decision when I choose which toys I allow in our home, or which videos we will borrow from the library, or what kind of activities we do together as a family. These are the things that will shape their world view, their opinions, their characters.

So this seemed like a great giveaway for me to do as my very first giveaway. Felt Food!

All lovingly hand-stitched by Yours truly,

A toy set that fosters imagination and playing together

 Creativity and fine motor skills

I hope you enjoy playing with it as much as I enjoy playing with my own children in their kitchen

  1. So exciting...great job! I love to play with blocks and watch them create whatever their imagination comes up with. Especially the small lego blocks. My son can really create some awesome "things".

    1. Awesome! We love Legos around here too, I recently found this blog http://www.homegrownlearners.com/home/2013/8/28/learning-with-legos.html she's got some great ideas on how to incorporate Legos into you homeschool (and some free Lego printables!)

    1. This is our goal as well. Although I find that my kids even find an imaginative way to use electric toys and such. Though I would prefer most of their time is not spent playing with those =)
